Hosted by Diplomatic Language Services, the DLS 5K for Lewy Body Dementia will raise awareness and funding for crucial support services, educational programming, and clinical research for Lewy body dementia (LBD).
Held in Arlington, VA at the Bon Air Park & Rose Gardens, this event features a 5K run / walk and a 1-mile fun run. The race course will be out-and-back and mostly flat along the W&OD Trail. All finishers will receive a t-shirt (t-shirt not guaranteed for those registering after July 23) and prizes will be awarded to top finishers.
You can also participate virtually by making a donation or setting up your own fundraiser for the event.
As part of DLS’ ongoing commitment to giving back and supporting causes important to their team members, proceeds from DLS 5K for Lewy Body Dementia will benefit the Lewy Body Dementia Association.
