Chief Scientific Officer
DESCRIPTION
The Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) will play a pivotal role in supporting LBDA’s mission by developing and implementing LBDA’s research strategy in alignment with the organization’s mission and strategic goals. The CSO will lead LBDA’s Research Division, advance LBDA’s research priorities, oversee its research programs, foster collaborations, and drive innovation to advance the understanding, diagnosis, and treatment of Lewy body dementia.
Education Manager
DESCRIPTION
The Education Manager is responsible for overseeing the implementation and evaluation of learning programs at LBDA for people with LBD, care partners, families, and health care providers. The position plays a pivotal role in maintaining high standards for education and engagement. The Education Manager will work directly with the Director of Professional & Community Education to ensure that ongoing educational programs are evidence-based and robust, ultimately contributing to the overall quality and credibility of LBDAs programs and resources. This role involves collaborating across LBDA’s various departments as well as with people living with LBD, care partners, community organizations and health care providers. This role requires a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can effectively juggle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
