Creative Unwind for Lewy

Calendar

March 14 @ 5:00 AM - 8:00 AM EDT

The University of Colorado Alzheimer’s and Cognition Center presents Creative Unwind for Lewy, a morning of creativity, connection and learning designed for individuals living with Lewy body dementia and their loved ones.

Enjoy a variety of engaging activities:

  • Decades-Themed Photo Booth: Bring a photo from your younger years and join the fun with a nostalgic "blast from the past" theme.
  • Recipe Exchange: Bring a copy of your favorite recipe—whether it’s a cherished family recipe or a go-to favorite—and exchange it for another.
  • Creative Activities: Participate in a craft project to spark your creativity.

The event will feature short talks from each of the speakers, followed by interactive workshops where attendees can rotate through and engage directly with each presenter. To cap it off, a research coordinator from the University of Colorado Alzheimer’s and Cognition Center will lead a quick dance lesson tutorial - a fun way to get moving and connect with others!

Savor light breakfast fare, participate in the activities, and special giveaways throughout the event.

This event is open to everyone! You do not need to be affiliated with the University of Colorado or UCHealth to attend. Whether you have a personal connection to Lewy or simply want to enjoy the event and learn more, you are welcome to join!
