Bridging the Gap: Ensuring Palliative Care for Lewy Body Dementia Through Advocacy and Support

May 8 @ 1:00 pm - 2:15 pm EDT

The primary goal of palliative care is to enhance the quality of life for both people living with an illness and their families. This involves addressing physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, ensuring that people live as well as possible despite their illness.

Palliative care provides comprehensive support that includes medical treatment, emotional support, and guidance for families. This holistic approach helps families navigate the complexities of Lewy body dementia (LBD) and make informed decisions about care. Overall, palliative care plays a vital role in managing the multifaceted challenges of LBD, providing individuals and their families with the support they need to navigate this difficult journey.

Join us for an insightful and empowering webinar presented by Dr. Kevin Webb-Kay, designed to support people with LBD and their care partners in advocating for and accessing palliative care services. This session will provide valuable information and practical strategies to help you navigate the complexities of LBD and improve quality of life through palliative care.

This webinar is a must-attend for anyone affected, offering hope, guidance, and a sense of community. Don’t miss this opportunity to empower yourself and your loved ones with the knowledge and tools to champion palliative care access.
