A local Parkinson's Disease support group leader forwarded me a link to an online video made by UCSF that focuses on PD.

The 28-minute video is divided into several sections. Here's what may be of interest to you:

* The CAUSES section (starting at 13:17) may be of interest to those dealing with LBD since alpha-synuclein plays a large role in this disorder as well.

* The sections on VALUE OF EXERCISE (19:32), VALUE OF SUPPORT (20:33), and BELIEVING IS STRONG MEDICINE (last section starting at 25:09) may be of interest to anyone.

The UCSF medical professionals interviewed, especially Dr. Robert Edwards, will be familiar to some of those with LBD in our local support group. Several people with PD are also interviewed.

Thank you Robin, It was interesting and gives up a bit of hope, who knows, maybe what they learn with the research for PD will enlighten researcher of LBD. I forwarded th link to one of the members in the PD support group that we use to attend.

Yes, thank you, Robin. I watched the entire video. There are also some people we know with PD who might enjoy seeing it and I shall send it to them. Cruel as PD is, how I wish my husband had it instead of LBD!!

I agree. If you had to get one neurodegenerative disease, PD is the one to have.
