 Introducing a new forum volunteer
As LBDA's discussion forums have continued to grow and thrive over the past few years, LBDA is expanding our volunteer moderator presence.
Please allow me to introduce our newest addition to the volunteer forum moderator role, Kathleen. She will be moderating the "Welcome to our Forum" and "Introduction" sections. Her user ID is soonerintexas.
To report any post as inappropriate or offensive, please click on the "!" button in the bottom right hand corner of that message and complete the information in the window that appears. This will alert the moderators that there is a post that should be addressed. This new process will allow LBDA to more easily share information between multiple moderators, compared to using a private message.
Thank you for your assistance in keeping our forums a welcoming place for LBD families!

Re: Introducing a new forum volunteer
Hello everyone. I am honored to volunteer with the LBDA and am looking forward to assisting with the moderation of this very important forum. A little about myself - I too have navigated a caregiver's path to assisting my uncle who was diagnosed at age 67 with LBD, he was a bachelor, lived alone and had no other family to care for him except for my mom and I. It is exhausting and challenging, and I know first hand the frustration that comes with staying one step ahead of the illness as far as care and arrangements go. I found this forum so helpful for me when I needed support in a time filled with panic, confusion and uncertainty. I am very grateful for the opportunity to help those of you, who may be impacted by this disease, find information and support through the forum discussion topics and the LBDA. I look forward to interacting with you and being part of this very special online community.
Kathleen
