At the Lewy Body Dementia Association, we understand that many families are touched by Lewy body dementia. Whether you’ve been recently diagnosed, you’re a caregiver, a healthcare professional, or you’re looking for more information – we’re here for you. We’ve created our homepage to help LBD families quickly access up-to-date information about LBD to help prepare for some of the changes ahead.

Caregiver FAQs available

The Lewy Body Dementia Association is offering the first installment of frequently asked caregiver questions on Lewy body dementia symptoms and diagnosis, treatment, living with LBD, physician awareness, caregiving, genetics and research.

The questions come from a recent scientific webinar on dementia with Lewy bodies aimed at physicians and researchers and hosted by the Alzheimer Research Forum. Nearly 400 LBD caregivers participated, and caregivers submitted more than 100 questions on LBD clinical care to the panelists.

Due to the tremendous caregiver response, the Alzheimer Research Forum turned to the Lewy Body Dementia Association to provide answers to a broad assortment of caregiver questions.
